Take Action Today to Fight the Opioid Epidemic

The House and Senate recently released a final agreement on H.R. 6, the Support for Patients and Communities Act.  Both Chambers are expected to vote on the legislation shortly. Please contact your Members of Congress and ask them to vote yes on the final opioid package.
 
In a huge victory for NPs and our patients, Section 3201 of H.R. 6 would make permanent the authorization for NPs to prescribe medication-assisted treatments and ensure that NP patients continue to have access to these vital treatments.  The legislation would also authorize other APRNs to prescribe MATs for five years.
